Team FZ FORZA
2017 is coming to an end and before the Christmas traditions and the family time kicks in, it is time to look back on a fantastic year.
Alex Vlaar (1996) started to play badminton at the age of 11 years. His father and mother played and even his mother played for Bulgaria Olympic games (Barcelona ’92). Alex is a former young Dutch badminton player played for The Netherlands team; WJC, EJC and Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing, China.
Olga Konon, the german shuttler, is one of the most successful European badminton players and she recently fought her way back from injury to the TOP 30 in world (2016).
Ben Lane and Jess are part of the new and upcoming talent coming through in the UK. Both are doubles specialists partnering each other in the mixed doubles and both playing level doubles.
In our quest of spotting the most promissing badminton talents – we found Toma Jr & Christo Popov from France. They are from a family with proud traditions within the world of Badminton.
Rasmus Fladberg is one of FZ FORZA’s Danish talents and is the new Danish national champion in 2016 in singles and champion in men's doubles in 2017. He has achieved some great results through his badminton career.
Line Kjærsfeldt has a rare determination. A determination that has enabled her to achieve great results, such as her victory at the European Games in Baku where she took the gold medal in Ladies Singles.
Anders Antonsen ”A new ambassador for Danish & European badminton” – this was the headline in the Badminton Europe magazine in November 2015.
Anders Antonsen is considered as one of Europe’s biggest singles talents and many predict him as a future Danish world class male singles player.
Anders Antonsen got himself noticed in 2016, not just because of his great play on court but also for putting words on his ambitions. “I’m the next one” – those were the words from the young talent after winning Scottish Open 2016. And when looking at his past couple of years this ambition does not seem unrealistic.
